It may be a weird thing to do as your child will not understand the words that are being but they will be able to subconsciously recognize the subtle differences in the tone and grammatical structure while they watch the news and television shows while they develop an interest in current issues.

Find ways to challenge their Chinese Vocabulary

Make practicing Mandarin a daily routine and make it a point to constantly quiz your child on any nouns or verbs that you may be using at that moment. You can also tell your child the names of feelings, food, or even clothes that you happen to come across that will help your child to grow their vocabulary.
